Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

John serves as the Chairman and CEO for The Lam Group. Mr. Lam leads The Lam Group in real estate development. He is well-known in New York's fashion, hotel and real estate industry. Prior to his real estate career, Mr. Lam was the Chairman and CEO of The Lam Fashion Group, which employed over 2,000 employees at one time. He has been quoted by numerous magazines concerning New York real estate, hotel or fashion. In 1990, Mr. Lam was selected as an All-Star by Crain's New York Business Magazine. In 1997, he received the prestigious Ellis Island Medal of Honor Award for exemplifying the ideal of living a life dedicated to the American way while preserving the values of Chinese heritage. In 2006, Mr. Lam received the Man of the Year Award presented by the Chinese-American Planning Council for his grassroots social services in his community.

Executive Director

Hung is responsible for the daily operations of The Lam Group hotel portfolio and serves as head of franchise relations. He is also responsible for developing strategic plans for each property in regards to marketing, time management, budgeting, and working with the management company to increase return on investment.  

He is an executive committee member of Association of Starwood Franchisees & Owners.

Managing Director - Finance

Shirley is responsible for the accounting, financial reporting and audit functions for the company. Her responsibilities also include obtaining financing for development projects. Over the years, she has established a strong network of relationships with lenders and investors.

Managing Director - Design & Construction

Keith spearheads design and construction activities for The Lam Group. He oversees day-to-day operations to ensure that projects are done on time and on budget. His constant communication with contractors and architects gives The Lam Group a strong network of relationships in the field.

Joann is responsible for supervising and coordinating OS&E and FF&E for The Lam Group hotel portfolio. She is integral in bringing new hotels to opening.

Managing Director - Human Resources

Jeannie directs human resources for The Lam Group. In this position, she leads the design, development, and implementation of innovative, flexible, and merit-based human resource policies. Jeannie oversees the human resource function in the entire hotel portfolio. Her objective is to build a performance culture while creating a pleasant work environment.

Lam Generation is a second-generation hotel development and ownership company of the Lam Group.

Jeffrey Lam

Jeffrey leads the company with his expertise in development properties. Before founding Lam Generation, Lam worked with Helmsley-Spear, Inc. specializing in the Manhattan market as a broker, developer, consultant, and principal. He also spent several years directly involved in the hospitality industry as a team member managing and restructuring new hotel startups, including a Holiday Inn in Philadelphia and a Best Western in Manhattan. Lam is a second-generation developer in the Lam Family. Currently, he is responsible for developing over 400,000 square feet of New York City real estate.

Chief Operating Officer

Raymond serves as COO of Lam Generation. He guides the company's overall performance and corporate strategy. Lam is involved in property development with an emphasis on construction budgeting, particularly in the hotel pre-opening phase. He specializes in the Manhattan real estate and hotel market.

Joseph leads The Lam Group in structuring real estate transactions, including acquisitions, sales, joint ventures, and financing. With his legal background and experience in multiple disciplines, Joseph brings a comprehensive approach to all transactions by overseeing deals from start to finish. In addition, as General Counsel, Joseph oversees the legal affairs of the company.
