China Style Hotel Should Go Into Global Market – Lam’s Speech on 16th China Hotel Annual Forum

March 16, 2016, the 16th China Hotel Global Forum was held in Grand Hyatt Guangzhou Hotel, Guangzhou China. It is the top level event of hotel industry in China. By then, the national real estate industry, the hotel industry and catering industry elites gathered to discuss the current situation of China real estate market, the impact of the world economy and China’s economic development situation of hotel industry.

For the first time, the Chairman and CEO of Lam Group – Mr. John Lam gave a speech during the forum in which he shared his experiences of 20 years’ success of hotel development industry. Finishing 28 hotels in New York, holding 16 hotels, many of them are Sheraton, Hilton, Marriott, Four Seasons etc. And its subsidiary Real Hospitality Management Group ranked 19th in the top 100 nation’s hotel management company in 2015. In addition, he said that Chinese style hotel should have large potential of growth worldwide while the global economic is facing downturn. He encouraged Chinese hotel giants open their eyes to the world. He said “A lot of Chinese people travel abroad, but not necessarily adapt to foreign hotel. In fact, why can’t we make Chinese hotel brand landing abroad, so that Chinese customers have intimate feeling of at home?”
